Click event not registering in Google Analytics

    Hi,

    I have set up a “button with a class with this name “meer-info-knop” (dutch language) to track the clicks on my button.

    I do not see the event appear in my Google Analytics account. I have double checked the class name for the click on the button and the correct GA identifier is added in your plugin.

    Am I doing something wrong or missing something?

    I do see an event going out to Google Analytics when clicking the button.
    Can you go over to the Real-Time Dashboard and verify?

    On your end, maybe you can try to clear the cache and try again.

    Let me know if it doesn’t help.

    I have set different ‘views’ in GA. Where does the plugin normally put the goals?

    I use different views in the same property.

    Google Analytics will show events in two places –
    1. The Real-Time Dashboard under events, where events will show up immediately
    2. Under the Behavior -> Events report (can take up to 24h to show up there).

    Once you have events, you can use them to create goals.

    Please let me know if you start seeing events.

    Found it!

    Yes! After clicking my button I saw the event appearing in the real time dashboard.

    Learnt something new today!!!
