Click count

  • Hi everyone,

    I’ve been using this plugin since a couple of months now and I wonder if everyone knows how accurate the click counter is? One of my customer’s buttons had a click amount on her button of 987, however, she informed me that she noticed the amount of entries from her site was 125 for that same period…how is that possible?

  • I am wondering this same thing. I just added this plugin a week ago and two of the ads that I added within 30 minutes of each other are showing virtually the same number of clicks. I don’t think this is accurate at all. I am not running the W3 Cache plugin that is known to conflict with this.

    Obviously I want to offer my sponsors solid reporting.

    The click count is totally inaccurate so please don’t trust it. I reported numbers to one of my advertisers as over 500 at one point and he replied back “What are you talking about? Analytics is showing 6.” He then stopped advertising with me because he thought I was a liar.

    I wish the plugin author should either fix this or take out the functionality as it is clearly broken.
