Click button and go directly to checkout

I’m attempting to make the the download button send visitors directly to the checkout when it’s clicked once.

Currently, after someone clicks the download button, they are told that the item has been added to the cart. They are then prompted to click again to go to the cart.

Is it possible for visitors to click once and be taken directly to checkout?

I attempted to use the direct=”true” code but it doesn’t change anything. Below is the short code I am using.
