I use “get the image” in all my sites. Makes grabbing images so much easier. For instance, no need to explain to a customer that they need to set a featured image if they want a thumbnail in their list of latest posts.

I also use it to display thumbs in the backend. Wooslider for instance displays no thumbs of your slides in the admin area if you don’t set a featured image yourself for each slide. Which would be double work and thus needs to be avoided. With the “get the image” plugin and a little tweaking of the Slider plugin this is easily solved.
