clearing work press cache or something similar

  • Hi
    I’ve recently restored my website and realised that there’s at least a thousands of images lost in “wp-content/uploads” directory (never trust your web host service provider!)
    this caused my website load very slowly and when I search an image in gallery it takes too long to respond and after that it loads empty Square as thumbnail of that name which is searched .

    now my question is that what should I do ! I mean what can I do ? how can I get rid of these empty thumbnails ?
    I don’t have any other back ups .
    any help/advices /answers would be appreciated .

  • If you don’t have them in uploads,a dn you canlt restore them to uploads, then sorry but they are lost.

    If you have them in uploads, but just can’t se them on the site, then reply further !

    Restore to a previous point? Depending on what hosting you use, they should have auto backup’s set.

    no I don’t have them and I don’t want to restore them too I just want to make em to completely disappear ! I don’t want them to be in search results .

    F*** them ! they told me that they have an auto Back up system and now they are telling me that they’ve simply lied …
