Could I get some insight (perhaps from a developer) on any reason to not clear the data from the wp_woocommerce_square_customers table?

I’m having an issue particular to my website where the incorrect square ID is stored in this table for many customers, and the solution seems to be to clear their entries out of the above table.

Do registered users on my website with recurring Subscriptions use this table or is their Square ID safely stored in their user meta?

  • Hi,

To get a better idea, can you please provide more details about the issue? Is any error message being received on your site?

And can you please share a copy of your site’s System Status Report? It is under WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.?

Hey Igor! I should have been more clear in my original post, I’m not having an issue with the plugin, just an issue specific to my website. Mostly I’m wondering if clearing the square_customers table will mess up my recurring payments with the WooCommerce Subscriptions extension.

    Hi,

I can understand your point, I was asking for the report to better understand the site configuration, I was wondering if there was an issue that make an incorrect Square ID to be saved. You can delete the data from the table (for example by using a SQL sentence), but if the issue is not solved, then the wrong data could be saved again.

May I ask, can you provide more information about the issue? That way we can point you in the right direction, thanks.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
