Clearing floats: Neither floated items in pages nor posts are cleared properly?

    Trying to get a theme approved for www.remarpro.com, and one of the comments the theme checker made was:

    Clearing floats: Neither floated items in pages nor posts are cleared properly.

    I’m not exactly sure what is meant by that.

    I’m clearing the floats in the template files, and it seems to be working fine (I know this is frowned upon but it works in all browsers).

    Not sure what needs to be cleared for floated items within the posts. If that’s the issue, what is the best way to go about clearing them?
