• I am still trying to import 920+ Blogger posts to WordPress, and the importers are failing, presumably due to incompatibilities introduced by 4.6.1 (since they worked with 4.5.3 and earlier versions).

I’ve rolled back (temporarily) to 4.5.3, but now Blogger Importer Extended seems to have retained the “what did I import previously” information and won’t start a fresh import. How do I do the equivalent of clearing the cache? I’ve read something online about clearing the BIE entries in “the database,” but could not locate them in cPanel File Manager or other tools. I’m sure the problem is between keyboard and chair, but would appreciate some guidance.

Has anyone found and resolved the importer issue recently? ?

  • you can uninstall the BIE plugin and delete all entries in the wordpress-db beginning with “bie_”.
you find them in the table …._options with the sql-query
    SELECT * FROM some_numbers_options WHERE option_name like ‘%bie_%’

After deleting them you can reinstall the BIE plugin. The history is gone. You can do your import.
