Clearfy + W3TC + WordPress Performance Pack = fastest possible frontend & admin!

  • Clearfy has reduced the need for 3 other performance plugins down to just this one with all the features of the others combined into a neat and very well commented interface.

    Well done for in-line commenting on what features do – more information the merrier as far as I am concerned here.

    “Clearfy” + “W3TC” + “WordPress Performance Pack” = the fastest possible frontend & admin performance we have been able to achieve with over 150 plugins running!

    Add “Scripts Dequeuer Backend” from CodeCanyon and you have all the admin tuning you could possibly need.

    Lowers the memory footprint, sql calls and includes for the frontend and admin too – wins in every area.

    My preference is always for using as much standard WordPress interface widgets and avoiding custom UIs to keep this plugin lighter too, so hopefully that might be considered in future to make this THE go-to plugin for WP tuning!

    “Query Monitor” & “Debug Bar Slow Actions” integration for future might be handy too for selective disabling of unneeded features identified by those.

    Keep up the good work and I can see this being a 1 million+ install eventually.

    Kudos on the new selective “Notification hiding” feature – exactly what I’ve been wanting for a long time and very smart making it selective for hiding and unhiding them so that plugins like W3TC that we need notifications for we can still see. Thanks!

    Cool – really like where you are going with it – the hard part is staying motivated with projects like this but I hope we can help a little with that.

    We’re based in Jersey, Channel Islands but have a mostly remote team around the World.

    We have many languages in our team so I’ll ask around and see if anyone can help.

    For anyone following my tips -try installing and enabling Query Monitor, then watching the Admin page load times, memory usage, number of queries and query times come down as you work through settings.

    We were able to reduce Admin page queries by about 40% with all of the above, which will be a good reflection of your front-end uncached page load times too.

    @agentdesign Oh yeah! We’re still working on it because it’s not so simple to hide them. I hope that we’ll fix all flaws in the near future and this function will work the way we intended.

    That’s cool – it is serving is well!

    We actually tried to develop a similar plugin ourselves for the same purpose but were working the other way around, hiding all and then selectively allowing some but also found the same issues in identifying good & bag notifications and where they were coming from since WP doesn’t offer an easy way to distinguish which ones are on all pages and which are on specific pages.

    We like your approach more ??
