    Hi,

    Really liking the plugin and almost have an entry form ready for use.

    We have a section for entrants to tell us if they are part of a team.
    They tick a check box to say they are in a team which reveals a dropdown list of all the options that we have on record for known teams.

    If thier team is not in the list there is another check box to say thier team isn’t listed which hides the dropdown and reveals a text box for a custom team entry.

    Is it possible to have the dropdown list selection cleared or set to something else if the checkbox for custom team entry is ticked?

    This is because we want to send a verification e-mail to the enrant with all the details submitted but it will look confusing if the dropdown and the custom entry both have values.
    Also when it comes to exporting the data for importing into our race software there will be room for confusion for the same reason.

    Any advice would be most appreciated.

    If I understand this correctly, the issue is that the email submission includes “Team/Club Name” even though “Team Not Listed” option was ticked, is that correct?

    Could you export your form, upload it to any file sharing service like GDrive or DropBox and share the download link so we can import it on our end and have a closer look at how the form was set up in the back?

    Thanks for getting back to me.

    Yeah I want the “Team/Club Name” to change to an empty value or maybe a value of “N/A” if “Team Not Listed” is ticked. So ultimately if “Team Not Listed” is ticked the entrant is not e-mailed a value from “Team/Club Name” and one is not stored in the submission.

    I have also noticed a problem with the input field used for “Custom Team Name” the value typed in it is not being saved or sent.
    I have tried deleting the field and adding it again but the problem is still there.

    I have uploaded a zip file here

    It contains the exported form, an example submission exported and an example received e-mail.

    Right now it’s not possible. But we have this tasked for future improvements. I’ll add your thread to the task.

    I’m afraid this is a bug ?? – I have tested a similar combination of fields on different form and value of the text was still missing.
    I’m reporting this to the developer so they can check it and provide a fix.
