Clear button for “dropdown select”?

    Thanks for this great plugin!

    On the search form, there are ‘Clear’ buttons for radio and checkbox groups, but not for dropdown select groups.

    Is it possible to have a ‘Clear’ button for dropdown select groups as well?

    Hello MBV,

    The ‘Clear’ button is not there for drop-down select fields because the user can always undo the current choice, while for radio buttons that’s not possible without the explicit ‘Clear’.

    I prefer not to add unnecessary elements to a search form, but of course you can customize your form template according to your needs. After you customize a form template, move it to the buddypress/members directory under your active theme directory, to avoid losing your changes during the next plugin update.
