    Hello,

I have had great joy in using this very nice Staging plugin, while playing around with new features not messing things up on a live site.

On the live site I had made some new stuff – more plugins etc. – which I wanted the Staging site to “duplicate” so in my wisdom I made a new Staging copy….
Now I have 2 sets of Staging-tables in my database – how do I cleanup – remove the “old” Staging?

Note: I have not updated to the new vers. 2.x of WP Staging as I’m not sure if I’ll make even more of a mess in the WP database.

    Hope you can assist.

    BR LarsHdg

Hi Lars, just move you mouse over the list of staging sites and you get a delete button.

The new v 2.x is fully compatible to previous version so feel free to update.

    Cheers

    Hi Rene,

Thanks for getting back to me.
The “old” staging is only visible by means of phpmyadmin – for some reason I lost it on the WP-controlpanel/-site.
Can I “just” delete the old tables from the database or do I risk to mess something up?
I’m still a newbie, the site is very much live, so I crawl carefully.

    Thanks ??

    BR Lars

You can delete the old tables without any risk, but make sure that the prefix of the table is not used for your live site. Usually its wpstgx_ but you need to confirm it in your wp-config.php
