Cleanup Freezes – Not Acceptable Mod_Security error

    I am trying to use the cleanup option provided by the plugin in Settings > Media. But the cleanup process freezes after a certain number of images.

    Upon checking the browser Network tab, I see the following error —

    ———
    Not Acceptable!

    An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security.
    ———

    I have tried adding the following block in the .htaccess file , but it doesn’t make any difference

SecFilterEngine Off
SecFilterScanPOST Off
</ifModule>

    Hi,

    it could be that your hosting provider disabled the .htaccess override, you could try contacting them and seeing if they are able to provide some help.
