Cleantalk & wpDiscuz

I understood that wpDiscuz and Cleantalk should work well together according to this:

wpDiscuz Forms – spam Protection for WordPress (cleantalk.org)

However when I have comments form checking enabled I always get the “email address invalid” problem when entering comments. The only way to fix this was to disable comments form checking in Cleantalk?
