    Investigating why contact forms not coming through from SOME users (some OK which I don’t understand how) I turned off Ithemes Security and the forms worked. Original form was made with Elementor and has worked fine for a year. Today we switched to gravity Forms and it still would not work. User would get a message “error”. No other information. No record of the attempt in anti spam log or firewall log. With Ithemes security turned off, the users forms suddenly went through. I also have a debug log showing (on 2 sites so far but I have only checked about 5 so far) that looks like this. I suspect it is related but I do not understand how after a year of smooth sailing. Debug:
    Constants:
    CLEANTALK_AJAX_USE_BUFFER NOT_DEFINED
    CLEANTALK_AJAX_USE_FOOTER_HEADER NOT_DEFINED
    CLEANTALK_ACCESS_KEY NOT_DEFINED
    CLEANTALK_CHECK_COMMENTS_NUMBER NOT_DEFINED
    CLEANTALK_CHECK_MESSAGES_NUMBER NOT_DEFINED
    CLEANTALK_PLUGIN_DIR /home/s1/html/wp-content/plugins/cleantalk-spam-protect/
    WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE NOT_DEFINED
    Debug log: Drop debug data
    ArrayObject Object
    (
    [storage:ArrayObject:private] => Array
    (
    [01:23:23_ACTION__FUNCTION_] => Array
    (
    [0] => Failed.
    Query: ALTER TABLE wp_cleantalk_sfw ADD COLUMN status TINYINT(1) NOT NULL DEFAULT 0 AFTER mask;
    Error: Duplicate column name ‘status’
    )
    )
    )

    Hi

    1. Could you clarify, does your contact form work when you deactivate the Ithemes Security plugin? Is the Anti-Spam by CleanTalk plugin active at this moment? What about a situation when the Anti-Spam by CleanTalk plugin is deactivated and the Ithemes Security plugin is active?

    2.As for debug data, please, deactivate the plugin with the “Complete deactivation” option enabled and then activate it again.

    1. Enter the Antispam by Cleantalk plugin settings. (WordPress Dashboard -> Settings -> Antispam by Cleantalk -> Advanced settings)
    2. Check the last settings “Complete deactivation” and save changes.
    3. Deactivate the plugin on the “Plugins” page in WordPress Dashboard.
    4. Then activate it.
    5. Enter your access key in the plugin’s settings.

    It worked with either one but one only at a time. I deactivated with “complete deactivation” as you suggested and it works and no debug log or error message. Will do the same on seven other sites exhibiting similar behavior. All good. Thanks very much.
