    Hello,

I have found some issues with CleanTalk when used together with Thrive Architect forms.

When submitting a form. If CleanTalk flags the form submission as Spam. eg sender is on blacklist or VPN detected.
The Thrive Architect form displays their default “Sign up successful” toast message. The contact form email is not sent.

It’s a little odd because the success message had been changed from the default “Sign up successful” message.

Secondly the form was not submitted successfully despite the success message.

If the contact form submission is not flagged as Spam by CleanTalk it is sent ok with the correct success toast message displayed by Thrive Architect.

I have also tried using a redirect to a success page instead of the toast message. If the message is flagged as spam by CleanTalk. On submit the success page is displayed.

The site is using Thrive Theme Builder and Thrive Architect plugin.
I also found that the encode contact data did not encode the contact information.

    Thank you for your help.
    Best Regards

    Hello @iapprentice.

From your message I understand the following:

    1. If the form submission is approved by Cleantalk, then everything happens as it should.

    2. If the form submission is forbidden by Cleantalk (spam is detected), registration does not happen, registration notifications are not sent to emails, but the visitor sees the default message “Sign up successful”.

So you would like the visitor not to see a message about successful registration if the request is recognized as spam?

    Hello,

    Thank you for the response.

Sorry I didn’t make it very clear that I was referring to contact forms and not registration forms.

Ideally, if the contact form submission is flagged as spam the user shouldn’t be presented with a success message. Having both a fail and success message displayed at the same time is very confusing. The user has no way of knowing if their contact form submission has been sent or not.

Or in the case of using the success URL redirect that is an option in Thrive Architect?forms. The user is presented with a contact form data sent successful page when actually the contact form data was not sent.

I am not sure how they behave together on other types of forms or comments etc.

    Thank you.
    Best Regards
