    What data related to NexGenGallery in the database can be deleted? I ask because a plugin to optimize and clean the database highlights these specific Nex Gen data for me, but I don’t know if they can be deleted, thanks Vittorio

    Hi @portantica,

    Honestly saying, we wouldn’t recommend proceeding with any of such optimizations that implies NGG’s database items.

    For example WP Sweep detects the tags as orphaned terms when they aren’t and using that option would simply delete all of NGG’s tags. We’ll have to use a filter to exclude ngg_tag taxonomy from WP Sweep’s array in one of the upcoming updates.

    Thank you for your answer; in fact even with other DB cleanup plugin such as garbage collector many orphaned NGG files are detected. Thanks and look forward to the arrival of the filter with a next version, Vittorio
