    Hi,

I have been trying out all the settings to learn about WPPA and decide on my look and feel. I have been doing this with test data on test images and test albums.
I need to get rid of all these test images and albums but need to retain all WPPA settings so that I can start clean when I bulk import the actual images and data into my gallery.

Taking this further is there a way where I can save all the ‘WPPA’ settings which i can directly restore in case of some failure/unwanted changes.

    Thanks in advance

    – Make a backup of the settings in Table VIII-A2.
    – Download with ftp the file
    .../wp-content/wppa-depot/[yourusername]/settings.bak
    to your local pc.
    – Follow the ‘delete everything’ procedure as described here:
    https://wppa.nl/changelog/installation-notes/#removingwppa
    – Re-install and activate wppa is if it is a new plugin. Visit the settings page without doing anything.
    – Re-upload your settings.bak file to the same location.
    – Re-visit the settings page and select — restore backup — in Table VIII-A3 and wait until the green checkmark appears.
    – Click the Do it! button in Table VIII-A3.

Now you have a clean wppa system with the settings you worked on so hard during the last month as well as a local backup of your setings.

    Thats great!

WPPA is certainly the BEST thought out gallery on WordPress!
