Clean Talk causes Errors and ultra slow loading of Oxygen Builder

    When having clean Talk activated and starting to edit in oxygen builder it takes up to minutes until oxygen builder is fully loaded and ready for editing.

    Also some Error messages like “Uncaught RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded …” and “InternalError: Too much recursion on line #1…” show up.

    When disabling Clean Talk everything runs again as normal.

    Question: are there any settings in Clean Talk that should be changed?
    I’m using Clean Talk with default settings.

    Using
    – WordPress V 5.7
    – Oxygen Builder V 3.7.1
    – Clean Talk V 5.154

    Thank you for the feedback! We have fixed the problem.

    Please, reinstall the plugin. ( Download link: https://github.com/CleanTalk/wordpress-antispam/releases/download/dev-version/cleantalk-spam-protect.zip )

    Here is an instruction:

    1. Go to WordPress Administrator Panel —> Plugins.
    2. Find the plugin “Spam Protection by CleanTalk” —> Deactivate.
    3. After the automatic page refresh find the plugin again “Spam Protection by CleanTalk” —> Delete. Confirm “Yes, delete these files”.
    5. Go to Plugins —> Add New —> Upload Plugin.
    4. Download the plugin archive from the link above.
    6. Choose the downloaded archive and press “Install Now”.
    7. Press CTRL + F5 once you’re on the page with builder.

    Hi Clean Talk Team

    wow that was faster than expected ??

    I followed your instructions and at a first glance it works as expected.

    But then I noticed some Ajax timeout error when adding some Builder Elements like for example the WordPress > Pro Menu and then try to change settings.

    Then the editor freezes completely and after some time the Ajax Timeout shows up.

    Its not happening with all Builder Elements, but I haven’t tested them all.

    I can confirm that the error “Maximum call stack size exceeded …” is fixed after downloading the update mentioned above (Github link).

    So, currently I am on version n° 5.154.1

    BUT … another problem came up. Now the SAVE button in Oxygen does not work anymore. It is impossible to save edits because nothing happens when clicking the blue SAVE button.
    So, I started to deactivate all plugins. SAVE button worked again!
    I then reactivated my plugins one by one and found out that it is Cleantalk that is causing the problem. For some reason it disables the save function.

    Latest versions :
    WP 5.7
    Oxygen 3.7.1

    I have to disable Cleantalk until you find a fix for this.

    The latest 5.156 version should work with Oxygen.
