CLean install on Windows IIS host

    Clean install of 3.9.1

    I am the admin of the IIS server.

    I cannot provision sites and access the dashboard or have the theme css not break. I have done MS installs on Apache hosts however now have to work in the Windows environment, which I am new to.

    HELP!?!

    Network was setup with proper changes made to wp-config and web.config files. URL rewrite is installed on IIS and running in app pool.

    Been banging my head against this for three days. How to I even test this to find what is not allowing me to progress this build.

    That means your web.config isn’t right OR it’s not being read.

    Is this a subdomain or subfolder instance of Multisite?

    I found that the default code for web.config was the culprit. By using the following code I was able to provision subfolder MS sites on windows host.
