Clean install of wordpress and iTunes Feed redirect

I’m planning on doing a clean install of WordPress (currently its installed in a sub-directory) I’m doing a clean by having the server wipe everything as if I were a new customer. My question is once I do this and install wordpress how can I redirect my iTunes feed using the <itunes new feed> tag if the old feed is deleted. Can I simply recreate the old directory structure and place the wp-rss2.php and feed-rss2.php in the respective locations then insert the tag.

Additionally what would a 301 redirect look like on the new site.
