Classified Themes

Hi there,

I’ve got a few questions related to classified ads themes available on the market. After reading “real” reviews from “real” customers (so many people try to take advantage of the affiliate programs), it looks like most of the the classified ads theme authors don’t offer great theme support. Also, most of the classified ads themes available out there look rather bland and outdated. The market for this kind of theme looks real good, is anybody here working on one?

The only theme (and service) that looks interesting to me after weeks of Googling is the one called Listify from Astoundify. But when I contacted them, they told me that their theme was not really made for a classified ads site. What a shame, I was looking forward to buying the theme.

The classified ads plugins available on the market have somewhat the same problems as classified ads themes; they are rarely updated and look or feel unprofessional. Another question here would be, since I’m trying to make something similar to Craigslist or Kijiji, should I focus on looking for a theme or a plugin… or both?
