Currently the non-breaking space entity is added for a new line. Is there a setting that would allow me to change this to an html line break or paragraph tags?

I’m using a PDF maker plugin. When using the text editor to format the layout, it only recognizes html tags. The non-breaking space gets ignores so no line breaks are shows in the PDF final render.?

Hi @caminarlatino – as things stand I’m not aware of a way to do that.

Thank you for your response. Do you have any ideas how I can change it? Adding a hook, or other code, in the functions.php file?

I installed the Advanced TinyMCE Settings plugin, read the settings documentation, and added the recommended settings. However, I still can’t get it to work.

Besides, the TinyMCE documentation states that the default settings should add the <p> tags for new lines. The only optional value for that setting is to change it to a <br /> tag, or to remove it completely. But in my case it’s showing neither. It only shows the non-breaking space entity.

    Hi there,

One thing that I see is exploring a search-replace plugin that always edits it dynamically (instead of doing so in the database). I believe Branda might allow that, but I haven’t tested it in a long time.

Thank you. I’ll def look into that.
