CLASSIC or MODERN ? which theme do you use ?

    2 times when I tried the modern theme, it showed problems and it seems that they are still not fixed.

    I am wondering if many people use the modern theme ? Or did you keep the classic theme (which is in my opinion the best wordpress theme) ?

  • Hi,

    If you are using a child theme with your own custom codes for Classical style, you should not be switching over to use Modern style as your custom codes will not work.

    If you are not using any custom codes, you can switch to Modern Style, clear any cache plugin’s cache content and browser history. The theme will load properly.

    Thank you for your reply.

    Can you confirm that the comment form is still not directly after content when using modern style ? I mean that the comment form is at the bottom of the pages after ALL comments. This is what I had seen, but since, I haven’t tried again.

    Also, can you confirm that classic style will always be supported, or your plan is to move to only Modern style in the future ?

    Hi @makeonlineshop, yes the comment form is located after all comments. It makes me think that it could be customizable in the future.

    Yes both styles are supported by the theme, there’s no plan to drop support for any option. The modern style uses a css technology allowing more flexibility and compatibility with recent and future mobile devices.

    Thank you for your reply, I feel safe to keep using Classic theme now.
    Sorry, maybe I am wrong, but I think that it is very bad to have comment form after all comments on Modern style.
