    Hi,
The classic editor seems to be causing an issue to the Yoast SEO Metadata panel. It shows blank. I don’t wanna disable the plugin. Are you guys aware of any fix?

  • Same issue works if you switch over to gutenberg blocks once again. But can we make this work with classic editor Yoast?

Yoast SEO works with both the classic and block editors. However, we’ve seen a few reports of conflicts where our meta box is blank when using the classic editor and other active plugins.

Please provide the answers to the following:

    1. Have you performed a conflict check? If not, please do so. Did you discover a conflict?
    2. Does the issue occur when using a default theme with only Yoast SEO active?
    3. Does the issue occur with the current 4.9.x or 5.0.x version of WordPress?
    4. Does the issue occur with the current 9.3 version of Yoast SEO?
    5. Is the issue specific to a certain part of your site, like posts, products, categories, etc?
    6. Check for?JavaScript errors with your console.

If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a?new GitHub issue?for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.

If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can?purchase Yoast SEO Premium?and receive our premium email support so we can help you further.

It was a theme bug with the classic editor plugin from wordpress core. All sorted not an Yoast bug.
