We had our site go down for 10 minutes earlier today, and looking at the error logs we have a lot of
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class “Red_Database_Status” not found in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/redirection/redirection-front.php:74.

Does that just mean that the redirection plugin couldn’t access the database?

Why did it go down for 10 minutes? That doesn’t sound like a normal thing to happen. Was anything updated? Did it fix itself after?

I’m trying to figure out why it went down. It isn’t not a normal thing, and it automatically fixed itself, which makes me think it was a server database connection issue.

But I panicked and saw the error log, thinking it was related. Just wanted to to confirm that the issue was to do with Redirection not being able to connect to the database.

The error says that a class couldn’t be found and has nothing to do with the database.

Possibly something else happened on your site, such as an upgrade, which caused issues elsewhere.

    ah wrong account.

I’ve talked with the hosting providers, checked the error logs and the activity log plugin and we can’t figure out what might have happened. Thank you for confirming that and helping us John.

I’m happy for your to mark this ticket as resolved.
