When I try to access any of PRESSAPPS Knowledge Base plugin’s menu items I get an error 500, and if I try to access the settings it tells me I don’t have sufficient permissions.

Which is odd, because all the other 31 activated plugins [https://wpexpert.support/plugins-used-here/] work fine, apart for one ~ Plugins List. Instead of showing the plugins on the site, which it normally does perfectly, when PRESSAPPS Knowledge Base is activated, it shows a PRESSAPPS Knowledge Base search window and if a search is made, then another error 500 is the only result.

The site is a multisite install but I am only interested in running this plugin on one blog.

    Can you help me please?

This may be a stupid question Terence, but makes you think it’s this plugin affecting PRESSAPPS and not the other way around? Does the PRESSAPPS plugin use the same shortcode as this plugin, for example?

As it’s a premium plugin there’s little I can do to investigate this, particularly as the documentation for it is not, as far as I can see, available for public view.

    Hi David,

I am not claiming either plugin is at fault, only that they interfere with each other.

I also contacted Ivan, the author of PRESSAPPS Knowledge Base plugin, and his response was to ask for a site login, to investigate.

It turned out the problem was that I had somehow got the same “knowledgeable” slug set for the main KB page and KB post type slug, which is why got all confused.

With that changed it all works fine now.

Sorry for needlessly interrupting your weekend.

    Thanks.

No worries at all. I’m glad it’s sorted – I asked the original question because I couldn’t imagine anything my plugin does that could cause this and so thought it more likely the other way around!

    David.
