    Hi there,

Have you written to them as well? I can see that their plugin says: Tested up to: 4.7.6.

I don’t know if this can be why it’s conflicting though, I will test this locally and will come back to you as soon as possible.

    Hi there,

Just checked and I’m getting some JS errors related to their plugin among which: “Cannot set property ‘photonic_view_renderer’ of undefined“.

It should only be an issue with the admin, not the front-end. I suggest that you temporarily disable Photonic, build your tabs, and then reactivate it. It’s not the best solution of course but it’s the fastest way you’ll get tabs on your site until the issue is solved.

I recommend you let them know about the issue if not already done, they might have an idea of what’s causing the tabs to not work.

We are in the process of rewriting this plugin’s admin code (as well as some other of our plugins), switching to something lighter that probably will reduce this type of issues. We have no ETA, we’re pretty busy with this.

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Hi thanks, the developers of Photonic got back to me with this answer

If it is in the back-end, then try this: go to Photonic → Settings → Generic Options → Generic Settings → Disable shortcode editing in Visual Editor, and select that option.

    This worked perfectly fine thanks

    Hi there,

Glad they found a solution. I suspected it came from some code related to the Visual Editor since it wouldn’t show up in the Tab edit page. It’s good that they have a setting to disable this in situations like this one.

    Have a good day!
