I just went thru the experience of installing WP, then having a bunch of files not work properly, because I didn’t enter a full (absolute) URL when asked for my blog’s URL during installation. I typed mydomain.com/myblog, instead of https://mydomain.com/myblog.
This was a stupid mistake on my part, and I should have known better, but many users will not. I had to uninstall and reinstall WP to fix the problem. So…
    1) Was there an easier way I could have changed the value of my blog’s URL, without reinstalling?
    2) Could you clarify the prompt during the installation procedure, so it says something like “Please enter the full URL for your blog, including https://”?
Thanks for creating such a great program!

As far as I know all you would have to have done instead of reinstalling was to go to admin>options>base settings and make the changes to ‘site URL’
I too only found this out after realising that my CSS fioles were not being called.
    Thanks

It also needs to be made obvious during the initial setup that the ending ‘/’ needs to be omitted. If you change it in the options it tells you, but it doens’t tell you during the fresh install.
