    Hi,
I’m happy and impressed with your plugin so far, I just have a questions

I noticed that when migrating to a new site, the wp-content/uploads directory still contains all the uploads that were in that directory before the restore was performed, however those uploads don’t show up in the admin media manager (because they are not in the database)… So it appears that it does not do a clean restore and it seems the uploads directory can become unnecessarily congested with old files that are taking up space but not visible in the media manager…

    can you confirm this behavior?

I understand that if I’m restoring into a clean installation this wouldn’t be an issue…but just wondering anyway.

    That’s correct.
We used to delete existing files but the users reported it as unwanted behaviour.
We will probably add an option in the feature to choose between the two – clean existing files or merge.
