• I’m switching from sendgrid to the mailpoet sender. To switch over, i’ve removed the 3 entries that sendgrid was using DKIM and a couple others. And I’ve activivated the sending service. By removing the sendgrid entries (and I have no other spf records) it should show everything is sent via my domain instead of via sendingservice.net?

    Thanks,
    Mike

  • Hello Mike, good question.

We don’t offer the possibility to remove the message “sent via sendingservice.net”.

Gmail adds this message because emails are signed with DKIM by ourselves using a single key associated with sendingservice.net, which is the domain MailPoet uses to send emails.

In order to remove the message “sent via” in Gmail, the DKIM key and the from address should be identical in each email sent.

Okay. You may want to clarify your “no need to setup DKIM and SPF records”. Sendgrid gave me the option of setting those up so that I no longer had the sent via. Instead, it was displayed as sending my own domain.

I’m willing to set those up in my DNS if it’s possible so that it no longer says sent via sendingservice.net. That would be my preference.
