Claims to display reviews but does not

Pro does indeed display reviews, and we show that prominently in our live demo:

If the confusion is whether FREE displays reviews or not, we’ve gotten that feedback several times and we continue to try to make it very clear that Free does NOT display reviews. But we’ll keep working on it. Can you help me understand the source of the confusion? We definitely are not in the business of misleading users purposely.

Here’s at least one place where it still says “reviews.”

Agreed, just installed, went through API set up, connected everything, set up a new widget area, installed on my page and noticed that there are no reviews. I just wanted to see what it would look like for a client, I understand your hard work into the app, but it is rather misleading. I thought I had used your plug in before so I looked through screenshots, and didn’t read all the bullet points of what the Premium version included. Would be good to not mislead by stating the free version does not include the ability to display reviews right at the top. This is the only feature I would need from this, listing my business from Yelp looks cheap. That is all

Thanks for your feedback @zenmasterwombles — we have no intention of misleading you. We actually are working on a major update to all our business reviews offerings which will help each of the individual reviews plugins a lot as well. Watch our blog for info on that.

I’m reviewing the copy for all our free business reviews plugins next week and will do my best to make perfectly clear what is and isn’t in the free versus Pro versions. Of course a plugin update is necessary to fix that one mention in the widget area — but we’ll get on that as well. Keep in mind that Yelp has also done a lot of changes to their API since we launched this plugin over 3 years ago. It’s hard to keep up with a moving target.
