CKEditor or alternatives

    3 years ago when I started with WordPress I found Dean’s CKEditor. When I first installed it the tool bar seemed to be there one day then not but soon settled down and we liked it and got used to it. I figured the tool bar antics were the result of something I was doing as a novice.

    Now we’ve basically reloaded the blog to clear out some plug in clutter and such. But when I try and install CKEditor or Dean’s CKEditor the tool bar is back to its antics. There’s for a bit but then it vanishes.

    Anyone know what’s up?

    Also what is the difference between Dean’s CKEditor and plain CKEditor?
