CKEditor 4.0 stays blank

  • I’ve read the many threads about CKEditor 4.0 being blank, but I can’t find the reason why I am still stuck.
    When I enable CKEditor 4.0, editor is blank, only shows one button. Can’t switch to the HTML tab either. I can sometimes see HTML in the visual editor when I drag to select stuff, but that’s it. Works fine with the standard crappy editor.
    CTRL+SHIFT-J shows several java errors in load-scripts.php line 79, “Cannot call method add or undefined”, pertaining apparently to jQuery.
    Did the Moono/update options thingy, no change.

    Help much appreciated.

    The older posts are created using the default HTML editor (I never use the visual editor) under WordPress 2.9 until 3.4. I open them randomly.

    I install WordPress in my local computer more then twice, one time I import from the old exported file from my live blog under WP 3.4 and another time from the new exported file from my live blog under WP 3.5. And the result is same.

    One again, some times the old post with litle paragraph (maybe less then 5 paragraphs) is loaded in HTML editor, but when I switch to Visual Editor and CKEditor is enabled as the default editor the content is immediatly lost. I switch again to the HTML editor or the Source in the CKEditor toolbar the content is lost.

    I think it can be caused by broken HTML code in your old posts.
    Please check if your HTML is correct in your old posts.
    You can also send us example post that you have problem at m.kesicki/at/cksource/dot/com

    I have checked by copying some posts that can’t be loaded when CKEditor is enabled from the WordPress HTML editor, of course after disabling CKEditor, to Microsoft Visual Web Express. I don’t find any broken code.

    You can see how I write my posts, all are using two mixed languages, at my live blog here. Each language has its own css class because of the different font-family, font-size and direction (LTR and RTL). I’m sure there are no any errors when exporting or importing the posts, my posts are still less then 60 posts.

    And about theme, I also have tried in my local computer using twentytwelve theme and also using the theme I use it in my live blog.

    I have IE9 and use WordPress 3.5. I got a notice for one of my sites that I had an update to my editor. I did the update, and it said it was done successfully. But now when I try to edit any of my pages or posts, none of my content is there and there is no tool bar.

    I also have another site that is using Dean’s FCKEditor For WordPress 3.3.1. This editor works fine, and I have never recieved a notice saying there are any updates to it.

    I have tried to re-install Dean’s FCKEditor 3.3.1, but it doesn’t install anymore
