Circle Fade on blog posts doesn't work on some but works on others

It has a class of “no-effect” attached to it for some reason. I suspect this is a bug that’s being kicked off by you starting the post with a hyperlink.

Can you change the text (even temporarily) so that it doesn’t start with a hyperlink and see if that makes it work?

I changed the post so it doesn’t start with a link but the image still remains the same on the home page.

Any other ways around this?

OK, my next idea would be that some images are being picked on the basis of being in the post, others are being picked because they are expressly a featured image.

Is the twitter image loaded as a featured image? If not, load it expressly as a featured image and see what happens. Does that fix it?

I have all my posts set as standard… not sure why others would work fine but not this one.

Aha! I think I’ve got it: Those images that don’t show have a “no-effect” class attached to them.

Doing a search in all the Customizr code shows that a “no-effect” class is applied to images whose width is less than 270 (to stop them stretching, according to the 2.1.4 release notes).

So what happens if you replace your image with one that is greater or equal to 270 wide?

One of the expanding circles for my post has suddenly become square, but the image is bigger than 270. My Site any idea how to fix it?

Change the size of the image to 270px x 250px.
