Chronological order

    What I would like to do is have a link off to the right on every page that says something like “View in Chronological Order” which when clicked on reorders all the entries.

    For instance, if clicked on on the main page, my very first blog entry would be on top. If clicked on on a tag page like this one: https://traveljapanblog.com/wordpress/tag/fushimi-inari/ my five posts on the topic would be ordered correctly instead of backwards as they are now.

    Does such a plugin or way to do this fairly simply already exist?

  • You can change the order of posts in The Loop.

    Rather than do this on your home page, I’d suggest you just use that technique on the archive.php or category.php file. Then if someone clicks “Oregon”, they’ll read about your trip in the correct order.

    The d Drunken Monkey link is broken – and – as far as I can determine, the plugin is an orphan that does not work with WP recent version.

    Pity. It’s widely wanted.
