Chrome Warns of Lost Changes When Updating

  • In Chrome/Windows, when the plugin is active, if text is entered into the rich excerpt box when you press Update you get the warning

    “The changes you made will be lost if you navigate away.”

    Clicking ‘Leave this Page’ allows you to proceed and saves the changes anyway.

    Any ideas on how to correct this? Works great otherwise!

    I will see if I can replicate this behaviour in my test site. It sounds like something is disabling the update button or turning it into a link (probably javascript-related) – this plugin includes very little script, so I doubt it is causing this behaviour, but it may be caused by a conflict with other plugins. Do you have any other plugins active which affect the WordPress post editing screens?

    It may have been an older version of The Event Calendar. Will report back if I can recreate the issue.
