Chrome Now Blocking Redirects

    Chrome is now blocking redirects. All cloaked URL’s are being blocked. The URL bar shows the following when any ThirstyAffiliate link is clicked: “Pop-up blocked”. It does give you an option to allow popups and redirects but this is not ideal for the user experience.

    Is there a remedy for this or do I need to uncloak/remove all redirects from my links (essentially uninstalling this plugin)?

    Please be aware that Pop-ups are different from a website redirection. If the destination URL contains pop-ups, it is blocked by default by Chrome browsers so you’ll need to enable them manually: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95472?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en

    Also, please keep in mind that our Thirsty Affiliates plugin doesn’t create the pop-ups to the affiliate link. I suggest contacting your affiliate program to assist you further on this issue if they have something to do with the pop-ups.
