Chrome Not Redirecting to HTTPS

My client has a wordpress with SSL that suppose to redirect automatically to https://www. which works fine in firefox and IE/Edge. However i noticed it doesn’t seem to automatically redirect in chrome, anyone ran into this issue before? We aren’t using any plugins to do the redirect such as wp-force-ssl. Assume this is some kind of bug with chrome itself. So if I type in DOMAINNAME.com, it goes to https://DOMAINNAME.com instead of https://www.DOMAINNAME.com like it suppose to in firefox and IE/Edge and shows it insecured since it not SSL.
