Chrome issues, Always crashes

  • In any other website, my website works fine, but for some reason in chrome, my website crashes. And its not just the front end, my backend crashes as well.

    Anyone have this issue? Or does anyone have any insight, it would be greatly appreciated.

  • You could always try turning of your plugins one by one and see if this solves the problem.

    Thanks! I tried this, I deactivated all the plugins and then one-by-one started re-activating them, got to the last 4 and no matter what they all cause the issue, one of them is Akismet!

    Then I deactivated some plugins I had recently re-enabled without problems and the site was still crashing, I can’t seem to pinpoint it! Any ideas?

    Just tried the site in Chrome and it does in fact crash (oh snap). try removing all the javascript links in the header and see if this causing the problem. Just copy and paste the code into a text file and copy it back when you’re finished. See if this fixes anything.

    I just wanted to update this (sorry for being late!) and say it was in fact a plugin that was effecting my site, the All-In-One favicon plugin in fact
