Hi. I use the auto link feature a lot and have more than 3000 tags with names of people I write about. I really like the plugin. I have a small problem though…

Sometimes there are two persons with almost the same name, and I have a tag for both of them. For example: John Johnson and John Johnson Jones. If I write about John Johnson Jones, TaxoPress will recognise and link to John Johnson, leaving the lastname Jones alone. This means it creates a link to the wrong John.

Is it possible that TaxoPress can check if including the following word would match with another term before linking? I mean, right now it seems to link to the shortest possible match, but what if it linked to the longest possible match?

PS: I know that I can disable the feature where TaxoPress links to terms NOT included in the post, which would eliminate most of these mistakes, as long as a post does not include both John Johnson and John Johnson Jones. But I would really like to keep that feature enabled, as I use it to mention (and link to) people (terms) who are not directly related to (tagged in) the post.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
