Choosing between ACT and CPT and integrating ACT with FacetWP and Elastic search

I’m looking to use Pods for a project involving a huge number of items that need to be filtered and searched. So, in order to make this possible and scalable if necessary I thought that the only solution is to use ACT. Is this the right choice in this case ?

And if so, are Advanced Content Types compatible with the FacetWP and ElasticPress plugins ?

Also, if there’s anything else I should know before diving into this project, please let me know.
