Choosing a theme that fits……

  • My client wants to have a very simple website recapping events in his life, mostly professional life. He has images from when he was a child that he wants on the site. He would like the home page to display one image(main header image) and then when you click on another page(say, About Me) then a new header image loads for that particular page. I didnt seem a theme that supports this.

  • Twente Eleven – very easy to use and you can choose a different header on every page. So let’s say the page ’email’ has a header with an emailicon on it, ‘about me’ has an image with a picture of himself. ??

    I used that theme before but only remember being able to set random images for the header, and not for a particular page. Could you tell me how?

    If you use a featured image for each page that is at least 1000px wide by 288px high, it will automatically be used as the header image for that page.

    So your saying If create a new page and in that page if I add a picture thats at least 1000px by 288px it wont be posted on the page it’s self but instead posted into the head area because of the size?

    No – I said you had to use the featured image functionality on each page.
