    Hi There,

I wondered whether it is possible, on my front page to have the layout style of the ‘latest posts’ rather than the ‘static homepage’, but with the posts of my choosing.

I love the layout and style of this theme, but would like to choose which posts appear on my homepage, rather than the latest ones created, whatever they may be.

    many thanks in advance

I have the same question asked, and no answer yet. Have you figured it yourself already?

    Hey,

    Yes and no.

Certainly nobody has answered so far. However, I haven’t completely solved it, but have a ‘get round’. Within the post created, in the top right corner of the edit post screen you have a few options. You can click on ‘sticky’. This means this particular post will always stay first on the homepage. Whichever posts you do this to will always stay on your homepage at the top. You can also limit the amount of posts visible on your homepage at any time within the ‘settings’ part of word press. Eg. If you set to 8, it will layout the 8 + any ‘sticky’ posts. I want 9 (3×3 square layout) on mine. After the 9 visible, small arrow navigation appears at the bottom to flick through the rest of the posts. (Rather than all scrolling downwards, which is what would happen if you didn’t limit the homepage number of posts.

Only other thing is if you make a post ‘sticky’ it will say ‘sticky’ on it, both on the roll-over link on your homepage and on the post page itself. I did not want this so then had to go into the CSS to stop it automatically doing this.

    Hope this all helps.
