Choose shipping when paying?

    I’m making a shop where there are two rates of shipping based on location, europe or the world, and I would like to add the shipping-choice when paying, in the cart.

    So basically as you add the items to the cart there will be a dropdown for shipping in the cart. Choosing “europe” will add the shipping-cost for europe to each item and sum everything up.

    I suppose I need to send the shipping (both for eu and world) for each product to the cart and there make the calculation.

    Is this possible?

  • I believe [wp-cart:PRODUCT-NAME:price:PRODUCT-PRICE:shipping:[Shipping|VARIATION-LABEL1, VARIATON-PRICE1|VARIATION-LABEL2, VARIATION-PRICE2]:end]

    should work. Of course you need to replace product name and product price as well as the variation labels and prices.

    So I will add this in the shoppingcart?

    I don’t want the shipping-price per item, i want to choose it, only, when I do the checkout…

    Maybe I misunderstood, I thought you wanted the purchaser to choose which shipping method. I’m not sure about you choosing it upon them checking out.

    Sorry, so hard to explain with text, glad you tried to help!

    I now changed so that the shipping doesnt show immediatly at least..
