Choose shipping-option per item

    Hi,
    I’m working on a store that sells interior-articles.
    I’m currently using “Brev” and “Kliman?ytral Servicepakke” as shippingmethods. So my problem is that some on the items sold by the store is small glass-objects that easily gets broken in an envelope, so they should only be sent in a package. But the dimensions and weight allows them to be sent as letters… Can I somehow force single items to only be sent as “Kliman?ytral Servicepakke”?

  • We’re working on building support for shipping classes in WooCommerce which would solve the situation you’re describing. Unfortunately, it requires rewriting large portions of the plugin and we don’t have an ETA yet. A workaround is to set the dimensions of the products to exceed the dimensions allowed for letters.
    It’s also possible to write a plugin that filters the rates based on the cart contents, or there might be an existing plugin you could use.
