Choose option for mailchimp via notification add-on

    Hi, we have bought the notification add-on this morning to the vfb pro, because I want an extra option in the contactform that people can choose if they want yes or no on our mailinglist.
    But I can not get it to work.

    I see only possibility is that it adds all filled in forms to my mailchimp list. Am I right? But that is not what I want. What we want is that it only adds to Mailchimp when people has choosed the yes box to Stips Kunstnieuws on the form.

    How do I fix that? I assumed that it was possible with this add/on but can not find out how. Or have I bought the wrong add-on?

    Thank you for being a pro user. The mailchimp addon is designed for use as email signup forms. You are correct in everything you said above. We would suggest that you have an email signup form and then your regular form. That being said, we believe this is a great suggestion for a future development, we have had this suggestion a few times in the past. We have found that most of our users keep the two types of forms separated.

    Thank you Joseph for the quick answer.

    For now I have found a temporary solution with conditional logic. If people choose ‘yes’ that they want to receive the newsletter, then there comes an extra email field in which they have to fill in their mailadress again for receiving the newsletter. That second field I have chosen in vfb add-on mailchimpsettings.

    Tested it out and it works fine. If they choose no the box not appear and notthing will be added to mailchimp. If they choose yes, the box appears and when they re-enter emailadress it will be added automatically on the list. So very happy now.

    Glad you were able to implement a work around. ?? We will certainly be looking at this feature for a future release!
