Choose image size would be helpful

    You are asking if we would like to use the an option to set the image size. I would definitively use this because I’m unable to set the size in MailChimp an they are way to large at the moment.

    Actually, I would love to avoid adding options in the WordPress admin for such a single plugin. Modifying the code would be also okay but it would break at every update. What about a filter? Would you mind using one, and adding two lines of code in your functions.php? I could add a filter that will let you choose the image size, then the plugin will be super clean ??

    Oh yes, a filter would be great! At the moment I changed the PHP code to thumbnail as the image size an added some code to deactivate the update feature. But a filter would be crazy great! Please let me know also how we can spend you a coffee for this!! ??

    I wasn’t successful with this filter. I tried it via functions.php in my Child Theme and also via the snippet plugin. The crazy thing: The thumbnail size is OK in MailChimp preview but not in Gmail (Web Client). With my own “hard coded” hack the size is also correct in the Web client.

    btw: why not setting “thumbnail” as the default in the plugin? I read that most of the people with troubles want to have the thumbnail size in MailChimp.

    Because you said that it’s not working so I was wondering if your RSS was changed or not ?? So is it working? The RSS is updated?

    The email issue is another thing, and might be something to change at Mailchimp.

    Thumbnail is cropped and square, that’s why ?? You usually want to have your original ratio in your emails.

    yes it is updated. the crazy thing is that I’m able to drive around the Mailchimp bug if i do hardcode the thumbnail size in the plugin code itself. crazy…

    But I would like to improve this plugin more in the future. Right now, there aren’t so many users or feedbacks.
