"choose file" is grayed out when trying to add new media

  • So this is my first time really messing around with my website that my brother created for me. I was just trying to add a couple new pics but it will not let me choose a file to upload. My guess is that it is my iPad that is not allowing me to do it. Any ideas? Thanks for any help!

  • My guess would be that it’s because iPads don’t have flash, which WordPress uses for it’s uploader. Assuming you’re trying to upload them from the Media>Add New page you should see this below:

    You are using the Flash uploader. Problems? Try the Browser uploader instead.

    with a link to use the non-flash uploader.
