Choose datssource

Thank you for using our plugin.

Please follow the steps below to set up.

1. Activate the plugin.
2. Add FMPRESS_CONNECT_ENCRYPT_KEY and FMPRESS_CONNECT_ENCRYPT_IV to wp-config.php as shown at the top of the admin page.
3. In the Admin Page -> FMPress -> Datasources, add the connection information to FileMaker Server.
4. In the Admin Page -> Contact -> Contact Forms -> FMPress tab, configure the data source to be connected and the layout, etc.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. However I have no option to add a datasource. When I go to:

In the Admin Page -> FMPress

There is no ‘Datasources’ and I have no options at all…

Sorry, I made a mistake in my reply.

Only “FMPress” will be added to the admin menu. On this page, you can register data sources.

Please click on the “Add New” button to set it up.

If your screen is different from the one above, please let us know what version of WordPress, PHP, etc. you are using.

Also, if possible, a screenshot would be helpful.

Ah, in Dutch it appears as “New message” and I’t looks like you’re in the message section. Tried to add a soure but it does not realy add a datasource (fields stay empty). And I cannot choose it with the contact form.

Hmmm, FMPress Forms does not include the phrase “New message”. When you install our plugin, you will have a separate “FMPress” section in the Administration Screens, independent of the “Comments” section.

Did you install “Contact Form 7” plugin? FMPress Forms requires Contact Form 7. You need to install and activate Contact Form 7, too.

If you can take a screenshot and upload it, it would help us understand the situation better and we may be able to give you valid advice.

Thanks for the information about the system environment.

We have confirmed that we can add the data source in FMPress and select the data source added in Contact Form 7 on PHP 8.2 and WordPress 6.3 built with Docker.

Would it make any difference if I try the following?

• Check to see if communication is blocked by browser development tools, etc.
• Disable all plugins and enable only FMPress Forms and Contact Form 7.
• If the server you are using has a WAF (Web Application Firewall), check to see if it is affected.
• If you are using server-side cache, make sure it is not affected.
